2017 meant a huge leap of faith for me. I decided, after years of dreaming, that I would finally do photography full time! WOOHOO! I'm thrilled, relieved, terrified, excited...I'm kind of all the feelings wrapped up in a bow.
The decision to take this leap of faith came after having our second baby. I knew that if I went back to my 9 - 5 I would eventually give up my dream of being a Photographer. So here I am....a full time Photographer. It feels pretty great and a little bit scary, but mostly fricking awesome.
How cool is it that I get to meet new people, spend special moments with them and capture their memories. I love that I leave my sessions feeling like I know my clients and like they know me. I get to sing silly songs for kids and tell my best jokes to get dads to smile, I am trusted to capture the happiest moments of people's lives; the I do's, the growing families, the love and the laughter. That's pretty fantastic!
